Our Story

Henry’s Music was born from decades of experience and a deep passion for music, rooted in a family legacy that dates back to the 1970s. Our story begins with Jindrich’s father, who played a pivotal role in shaping the music industry during the communist era in Czechoslovakia.

In 1967, Jindrich’s father became the main export sales director, responsible for introducing iconic Czechoslovak brands like Petrof and Cremona to the global stage. His efforts helped bring these renowned instruments to musicians around the world, even during challenging political times.

After the fall of communism in 1989, the business landscape shifted, and Jindrich’s father founded Praha Music Center Ltd., becoming one of the first in the region to import legendary brands like Marshall. This entrepreneurial leap laid the foundation for a new era of music distribution in the country.

Jindrich, whose name is the Czech equivalent of Henry, grew up surrounded by music and began working in his father’s shop at just 13 years old. Over the years, he gained valuable knowledge about the needs of musicians and the gaps in the market. Combining his father’s legacy with his own experience, Jindrich launched Henry’s Music to create something unique.

In 2023, Henry’s Music officially launched with the mission to produce top-quality instruments and accessories at affordable prices, without compromise. Unlike large manufacturers, who often ignore feedback, Henry’s Music listens to musicians and designs products that meet their exact needs. Our focus is on innovation, reliability, and exceptional value.

Today, Henry’s Music is part of a larger business group with an annual turnover exceeding 20 million EUR, driven by Jindrich’s extensive industry expertise. Our headquarters in Prague and central warehouse in Louny serve as the heart of our operations, where every product is crafted with care.

At Henry’s Music, we believe in giving back to the community that inspires us. That's why we established the Henry’s Foundation, dedicated to supporting schools, music programs, and young talent. Through this initiative, we help provide instruments and resources to schools in need, ensuring that the next generation of musicians has access to the tools they need to thrive.
