From Design to Delivery: The Quality Check Process At Henry’s

Your guitar deserves the stage. Not the repair bench. Our rigorous quality checks catch problems before they reach you, so you can skip the hassle and dive straight into your music. Read on to find out how we at Henry’s make sure your new axe arrives ready to rock your world.

At Henry’s Music, we understand that your  guitar is more than just an instrument – it's your voice. That is why we perform rigorous quality checks before each shipping. Follow us on the journey, from product design to a luthier workstation.

Step 1: Why Design Choices Matter

The quality control process starts long before the guitar is even built. Our team carefully selects every piece of wood, shape, pickup, and color to make sure the guitar delivers the sound and comfort you're after. Our product designers come up with new guitar designs based on feedback and years of experience in the industry. You asked for a wider neck? You got it. Wanted improved pickups? We got your back.

Step 2: The Golden Sample Guarantees Consistency

Before a new range of instruments is manufactured, we test each new sample with a full, extensive soundcheck to create what we call the golden sample. It is a single product that arrives from the factory, manufactured based on the first product design. This sample is checked for its tuning, durability and playability. This becomes the gold standard for the entire line. That means the guitar you order will sound and feel just like the one you saw in the demo or read about online.

Step 3: Factory Checks That Save You Troubles

In the manufacturing factory, each guitar is inspected by trained technicians right after it’s made. They follow detailed steps to make sure everything is tight, clean, and working. This way, we catch small issues before they become your problems. You won't deal with scratchy knobs, loose jacks, or sharp fret edges because we deal with them for you.

Step 4: Final Setup By Expert Local Luthiers

Before your new guitar leaves our hands, it gets a full inspection in our workshop in the Czech Republic. Led by Vladimir, our expert technician with over 30 years of experience, our in-house team of guitar luthiers follows precise setup values for each model and checks the hardware, sound, and the design.

Everything must fall in place. Tuning machines must turn smoothly. The bridge, nut, and saddles must respond cleanly. The input jack is checked for firm contact, a pickup height is dialed in for dynamic response.
Our team looks for sharp frets, dead notes, loose hardware, and anything that might mess with your groove. If it’s not perfect, we fix it. After a final play test, your guitar is ready to be shipped right to you. But not before it gets an authentic, CEO-signed certification so you can be sure you’re getting the real deal.
