The ST1-NJR is made for beginners who want a real instrument to start playing right. It’s light, easy to hold, and comfortable for smaller players. The body is made from Pawlonia wood, the Maple neck has a slim Thin C shape, and the Tech Ebony fingerboard feels smooth and fast. With three Birdy II single-coil pickups in SSS setup and a 5-way switch, you get a wide range of classic electric guitar sounds — great for rock, blues, pop, or funk. A tremolo bridge adds even more fun for creative playing.

Every young musician needs a good instrument, because it can determine the entire musical journey. When I was starting out, that was the biggest challenge — there simply weren’t any good. Today, there are too many, and it’s hard to know where to begin. So I created the Henry’s Junior BIRDS series. Guitars designed for a strong start, based on our top Snake models but lighter and more comfortable for smaller players. That is why the hummingbird became the symbol of the series. It’s small, fast, beautiful — just like the guitar should feel in your hands. Free, elegant and ready to fly.
