Henry's CK78 II KALEL is a hybrid electric guitar with nylon strings, built for guitarists who want a modern sound with standout style. The body is made from solid okoume with a spruce top, delivering warm, resonant tone with an inviting midrange, while the spruce adds brightness and clarity on top for a full, rounded sound that still cuts through. Despite its solid construction, the guitar weighs in at just 2.64 kg, keeping it comfortable through long sessions, rehearsals or gigs. The neck is crafted from roasted Canadian maple with a "C" profile, paired with a laurel fingerboard. A specially contoured neck joint lets your hand glide smoothly into the upper frets, so solos and high-register playing feel natural and unrestricted.
Equipped with the active HN78 piezo pickup, complete with a built-in preamp for a stronger, clearer, more balanced tone straight into any amp, mixer or PA, this guitar is ready to play the moment inspiration hits. It features a 6.3mm jack for amplifiers and a 3.5mm jack for headphones, letting you play silently wherever you want. Finished with a glossy lacquer and black hardware, this modern electric-acoustic hybrid guitar combines premium tonewoods, lightweight comfort, and eye-catching design for guitarists focusing on more modern styles yet intrigued in branching out into classical guitar without going too far out of their comfort zone.
About the Series CK78II
The CK78 is now in its third incarnation. Following the pilot and first series, we’re now able to present the ultimate version of this model, refined to perfection. Its core features remain: a solid body, a piezo pickup, a 3.5mm jack output, nylon strings, and a distinctive design. We’ve added darker body colors, higher-quality materials, a lacquered finish, and—most importantly—a new tapered neck joint for comfortable playing.
