The Jazzkiller series fuses two of the most unlikely musical worlds – punk and jazz – into one genuinely distinctive instrument. Its ST-shaped alder body and roasted maple neck and fretboard featuring a modern C profile and 22 frets give it a bright, fast-feeling foundation, while a contoured, angled neck joint makes the upper register effortless to reach.
What really sets the Jazzkiller apart is its pickup configuration: a special single-coil and FilterTron combination delivers a far wider tonal palette than a typical superstrat, from glassy, articulate cleans to punchy, characterful drive. The bridge single coil is mounted vertically in an unconventional position, adding both visual flair and a distinctive edge to the tone. A hard-tail bridge locks everything down for rock-solid tuning stability and generous sustain, even under aggressive playing.
Practical touches round out the design: locking tuners keep it in tune through demanding sets, while a 6.3 mm jack mounted on the bottom edge of the body keeps cables out of the way for more comfortable playing. Each guitar even ships with a set of stickers so players can personalise their instrument and make it their own.
Available in four striking finishes – Jane (Blue), Monna (Green), Daizzy (Cherry Red) and Koko (Pink) – the Jazzkiller JK-701 is built for guitarists who want a genuinely unique voice and don't want to choose between edge and elegance.
